Coming out ahead of CEDIA Expo 2023, PhaseTech has announced the launch of its newest lineup of subwoofers: the Power Lux DSP line. Utilizing digital signal processing (DSP) to control the amplifier and driver, PhaseTech states the Power Lux subs will create a new standard for low frequency output and max SPL.
PhaseTech states this new handcrafted lineup will feature four distinct models which include the PL-10S and PL-12S compact sealed subs and the PL-10P and PL-12P ported subwoofers. The Power Lux subwoofers also come equipped with an integrated 900-Watt peak power amplifier and reportedly have an out as low as 17 Hz.
Each product features a 10” or 12” long-throw mica-graphite poly cone with NBR Surround and come equipped with a dedicated app (iOS and Android compatible) which is used to control level, phase, EQ, high/low pass crossovers, signal sensing auto turn on/off, and user-generated presets for audio personalization.
The subs also come with LFE and stereo inputs/outputs, each having independent high pass and low pass control, so they can be usable as part of a sub/sat system or can be daisy chained with multiple subs.
Buyers also have the option of sticking with standard black finishes or selecting any number of custom colors paired with either a high-gloss or matte finish.
“When you blend exceptional sound precision, iconic design, and modern finishes, you’re not just presenting a new standard for integrators but creating a customized immersive sensory experience,” said Ken Hecht, vice president of PhaseTech parent company MSE Audio.
Attendees to CEDIA Expo 2023 between September 7 – 9 in Denver, Colorado, will be able to get a firsthand look at the Power Lux subwoofers alongside their counterparts in the Premier Lux Line, as MSE Audio will be showcasing both at booth 909 as well as sound room 202 on the tradeshow floor of the Colorado Convention Center.
