GRESHAM, Ore. — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Blue Line MAX prepare early Thursday morning, Gresham Police say.
Officers and medical personnel responded to a name at 2:25 a.m. close to Civic Drive, reporting that an individual had been struck by a MAX.
The incident occurred within the restricted space of the trackway between the Ruby Junction/E 197th Ave and Civic Drive MAX stations.
Police say the sufferer was killed within the collision, and that the East County Vehicular Crimes Workforce is investigating whether or not headphones might need saved the sufferer from listening to the oncoming prepare
