College of Massachusetts Amherst Chancellor Javier Reyes is amongst 100 leaders from throughout the commonwealth acknowledged by Amplify LatinX for his or her work to encourage and uplift the Latinx group. The Wellesley-based nonprofit launched its inaugural checklist of “ALX100 Amplifiers” to mark Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 – Oct. 15. Born and raised in Mexico, Chancellor Reyes is an economist who has devoted his profession to the reason for public increased schooling.
