According to reports, Kanye West is gearing up to release a new album in hopes of making a career comeback. This will be the first album Ye dropped since February 2022’s Wound 2.
Kanye West’s Wife Bianca Censori Will Be Featured On His Music
Speaking to NBC, sources say the rapper has been working on new music throughout the summer – and some of it features his new wife, Bianca Censori. “New music is imminent,” an insider said.
It was previously reported that Bianca is acting as Kanye’s muse and collaborator in his upcoming work.
“Kanye and Bianca are in the honeymoon phase, they are always all over each other and showing affection,” a source told Us Weekly. “They are having a blast traveling right now and Kanye has been very inspired. He says he’s designing, writing music and being inspired.”
“Bianca has been helping Kanye with some designs, and they both think their fashions are going to be culture shifting,” they went on. “Kanye feels he’s on the precipice of a big comeback.”
It was previously reported that Bianca is playing a leading role in Kanye’s comeback as well as his business dealings. It was revealed earlier this month that he made her his special power of attorney only month after their non-legally binding wedding in January.
“Bianca runs the show. She has been around Ye for about three years, things got serious really fast in mid-November,” a source told The Sun.
“Bianca handles Ye’s daily logistics from Yeezy clothing management to construction of the new Yeezy headquarters/ Donda Academy,” they added. “She takes all his calls, and all business affairs go through her. It seems to be working out well so far.”
Kanye’s New Album May Only Be Available On The Stem Player
While reports of a new Kanye West album is sure to excite fans, it’s possible that music will be released exclusively on the Stem Player, just like Wound 2 was in Kanye’s attempt to boycott streaming services, like Spotify.
In an Instagram post, Kanye explained his decision was motivated by his frustration over how little profits artists make from music streaming giants. “Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes,” he wrote. “It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time take control and build your own.”
The Stem Player emerges as a joint venture between Kanye’s Yeezy Tech label and Kano, an electronics start-up headquartered in the UK. Priced at $200 USD on its official online platform, the gadget offers individuals the capability to create and enjoy their personalized music blends while on the move.
Much like an MP3 player, the Stem Player enables users to transfer songs onto the device through its online portal. It empowers users to divide songs into separate “stems,” granting control over vocals, drums, and bass elements. Additionally, users have the option to adjust the tempo, isolate specific track components, and incorporate unique sound effects.
Kanye’s decision was controversial at the time, since fans were forced to invest in a Stem player to listen to Wound 2. Amid reports of a financial crisis, Ye may not choose to do an exclusive release again if it could compromise sales. But considering the Stem player made $2.22 million in sales in a single day after Ye announced Donda 2’s exclusive release, perhaps doing the same with his upcoming album would be financially savvy.
