London (CNN) — A child grand piano that after belonged to Freddie Mercury offered for over £1.74 million ($2.2 million) at a Sotheby’s public sale Wednesday.
Purchased in 1975 and imported to England from Japan, the Yamaha G2 was utilized by the Queen frontman to compose his seminal monitor “Bohemian Rhapsody” that very same 12 months.
