GODFREY — Lewis and Clark Neighborhood School is partnering with the village of Godfrey and CJD e-Biking for a group e-Waste occasion 9 a.m. to midday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10 and 11, within the Tolle Lane parking zone throughout from the campus.
Most gadgets shall be accepted free of charge. The next gadgets shall be accepted however with a charge/cost, relying on dimension:
• $5-$35 to recycle cathode ray tube (CRT), projection, plasma, flat display screen and console televisions.
• $5-$20 to recycle LCD, LED, CRT screens.
• $5-$10 to recycle dehumidifiers, mini fridges and fridges.
Gadgets accepted freed from cost embrace computer systems, printers, cables and peripherals (keyboards, mice, and many others.) fax machines, scanners, digital converter containers, cable receivers, satellite tv for pc receivers, online game consoles, DVD gamers/recorders, moveable digital music gamers, networking tools, server, telecommunications, telephones, cell telephones, clocks, and many others, VCRs, stereos, and audio/video tools (together with cable/satellite tv for pc), vacation lights, steel decorations and steel furnishings, electrical, cabling, communication equipment and tools, residence electronics, blenders, toasters, irons, and many others, air conditioners, fridges and humidifiers, white items: washers, dryers, dishwashers, furnaces, and many others, medical tools and all kinds of diagnostic tools, industrial equipment and tools (together with energy and fuel tools), garden tools, instruments, previous mowers, tillers, and many others., previous motors, non-PCB kind transformers and different electrical tools, lead acid batteries and non-ferrous metals
The gathering is not going to settle for radioactive supplies, alkaline batteries, gentle bulbs, family smoke detectors, hazardous supplies (oil, oil filters, antifreeze, paint, pesticides, air baggage, lead, mercury switches, fluorescent lights), non-electronics (tires, wooden, asbestos, workplace waste, furnishings), fiberglass, insulation, roofing, grime), flammable supplies, explosives (firearms, ammunition, shells), DVDs, CDs, cassette tapes or VHS tapes.
