Our new season of Roscrea Audio system Membership, Toastmasters Worldwide began again after our summer time break on Thursday, August 31. Our conferences happen in Rackett Corridor Lodge, Roscrea, at 8pm, fortnightly in addition to on Zoom. Toastmaster on the night time was Larry Lyons, topicsmaster was Edel Carey, timer function carried out by Charles Hannon and grammarian function Sean Dwan.
Our speeches on the night time have been by Julie Murphy entitled ‘Sharpen that noticed’ and the second speech part was a change from the conventional speech in that we had a subject which was debated by two of our members, Teresa and Alan, for 2 minutes every. We have been very proud of how our first assembly of the 12 months went and more than happy that our new members settled in and loved proceedings.
